"Theodora - Wonderful message, an excellent analogy, and thoughtful insight... Prior to opening your article, I was sitting this morning thinking about the foolishness of youth; mine, my friends, my children, the youth of today and tomorrow and realized surviving is a reward, it seems just too obvious to say, yet we just don't understand how wonderful it is until the tidal wave washes away and we are on the beach again, that although the beach is forever changed... it is still the beach and we are on it. Everyone faces a tidal wave." - Anonymous

European vs. American

On the lighter side of things this afternoon.

Men, the world over, are not the same. European men, and American men, are night and day. Not that I consider myself an expert, but neither am I a novice.

This would be too lengthy a post if I were to break it down by region, so i will stick to Continents.

Let's start in Europe...surprised? Me neither.

The European man is versed in the art of loving. Not one women, or man or situation, but loving. The sun, the sea, the moon and stars that surround it on a summer evening. The color of a women's eyes and the way her hair glows in the sun. The curve of her lips and how her fingers move slowly over them after sipping her wine. European men take notice of the smallest details and use it in their love making. They live passionately, love uninhibitedly, and savor every memory of the day's events as the sun sets over the sea, while holding tightly onto the women in their arms.

My section on American men will follow after they have penciled me in to discuss the practices by which they go about courting women.

I'll get back to you - or not - on the dating rituals of American men.

  1. A friend of mine did not like this one. I love it! It reminds me of the differences that exist in the world and why people need to experience all the world has to offer first hand. Not via a box that sits on a table limiting our options on what you can and can not experience.
